| Purpose of the guideline: | Multiple complex respiratory system diseases are prone to be syndemic, and there is an urgent need for comprehensive management methods to effectively address these situations. This expert consensus aims to focus on the management of comorbidities in respiratory diseases, systematically search for relevant literature from Pubmed database establishment until December 2023, synthesize guidelines, consensus, and recommendation opinions related to respiratory disease management, and summarize relevant evidence. Based on the research progress and prevention practice of comorbidity management of respiratory system diseases, this consensus has been formulated through multiple rounds of expert discussions by senior experts and scholars in various fields such as clinical medicine, respiratory critical care, epidemiology and health statistics, health management, disease prevention and control, and population medicine. Several core suggestions have been formed, including concepts, impacts, management objectives, management principles, management strategies, etc. I hope that the formation of this expert consensus can promote scientific management of the respiratory diseases syndemic and promote population health. |
