IGEST is a generic tool for screening guidelines for any specialty, target population, and healthcare organization, but it is intended only as a screening tool, primarily for quickly assessing guideline quality and determining whether they can be adopted or adapted in other settings, and is not a substitute for some of the more complex guideline quality evaluation tools.

In July 2022, Jose F. Meneses-Echavez et al. from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health published an article in the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology entitled "Evidence to decision frameworks enabled structured and explicit development of healthcare recommendations". The aim of this study was to identify and describe the processes suggested for the formulation of healthcare recommendations in healthcare guidelines available in guidance documents.

Localized scleroderma is a chronic disfiguring skin disease that not only involves the skin but also can involve subcutaneous tissue, muscles and bones. In the initial stage, it is only manifested as skin erythema and edema, changes in glossiness, or mild pigment abnormalities. As the disease progresses, the affected skin area gradually undergoes hardening and atrophy. In severe cases, scar formation and hair loss occur, which seriously damages the mental health and quality of life of patients. For a long time, the domestic attention to this disease has been relatively low. In particular, the majority of grass-roots dermatologists lack a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of it, and the diagnosis and treatment behaviors are not standardized enough. Some patients are misdiagnosed or missed, which seriously affects the diagnosis and treatment process and prognosis of patients, causing a serious burden on patients and their families. It also poses a huge challenge for dermatologists to correctly diagnose and reasonably treat in clinical work. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate expert consensus according to China's national conditions to popularize and standardize diagnosis and treatment behaviors. At present, only Europe and Japan have proposed relevant diagnosis and treatment guidelines for localized scleroderma, which elaborates on aspects such as the disease's clinical manifestations, auxiliary examinations, treatment plans, and prognosis. However, there is currently no expert consensus or guideline for this disease in China. Therefore, for further clinical application, this guideline intends to provide evidence recommendations on aspects such as the clinical classification, clinical manifestations, auxiliary examinations, and treatment plans of localized scleroderma to provide guidance for clinicians, hoping to standardize industry behaviors and benefit patients.

In recent years, antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) have gradually become one of the hottest research fields related to cancer treatment. Among the approved ADCs, HER-2 is the most explored target. However, the off-label use of anti-HER-2 ADC is common. Based on drug labels, guidelines, expert consensus and published literature evidence, this consensus systematically sorts out and conducts evidence-based evaluation of the off-label use of anti-HER-2 ADC. And the consensus expert group forms recommendations for the off-label use of anti-HER-2 ADC in order to providing reference for the clinical rational use of anti-HER-2 ADC.

Trauma refers to the destruction or dysfunction of organizational structure integrity caused by various external forces or mechanical factors acting on human body. Among them, the trauma of upper limbs or lower limbs is called limb trauma, including iatrogenic trauma and non-iatrogenic trauma. The iatrogenic trauma includes bone and joint surgery, and the non-iatrogenic trauma mainly causes partial or complete damage to the continuity and integrity of limb tissue due to external violence or self-pathological injury, such as fracture, joint dislocation and open injury. Limb trauma causes local blood vessels, muscles and nerves to be damaged, which is prone to local edema. In addition, edema is also a common complication during the rehabilitation of limb trauma, which may lead to joint dysfunction, muscle atrophy, nerve injury and other serious consequences if not handled properly. With the rapid economic growth and the sustained development of road traffic and construction industry in China, the incidence of trauma is increasing. As one of the common injuries in limb trauma, the incidence of fracture is about 3.21‰. Although there are more and more clinical edema management methods, there is a lack of standardized and standardized guiding standards for edema management after limb trauma. In view of this, the Traumatic Osteology Group of Orthopedic Branch of Chinese Medical Association, External Fixation and Limb Reconstruction Group of Orthopedic Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Bone and Joint Injury Group of Traumatic Surgeon Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association jointly set up an expert committee to compile the guide, and combined with the latest evidence-based medical evidence and clinical experience at home and abroad, formulated this guide, with a view to providing evidence-based and practical reference for practitioners in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation medicine, emergency and other fields in the management of edema after limb trauma, and promoting standardized management and treatment of edema.

Epicanthus is a facial feature of Oriental race, and its existence affects the eye shape and facial proportion of Oriental people. With the development of plastic surgery technology and the changes of aesthetic sense in Chinese people in recent years, the number of operations for the correction of epicanthus has increased dramatically, and many new surgical methods have emerged constantly. However, there are still disputes regarding the diagnosis, surgical indications, surgical techniques and postoperative scar management of epicanthus. There is no consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of epicanthus at present. Here we organized domestic experts in related fields to co-write this consensus, aiming to provide guiding opinions for the diagnosis and treatment of epicanthus.

Lateral position tracheal intubation technique has been increasingly recognized by a wide range of anesthesiologists, surgeons, and operating room nurses for its advantages in maintaining airway patency, promptly and effectively performing artificial or mechanical controlled ventilation, preventing reflux and aspiration, and reducing hemodynamic fluctuations and limb traction injuries caused by position changes. Therefore, it is particularly important to further improve the theoretical knowledge of lateral position anesthesia induction tracheal intubation techniques, establish standards and procedures for lateral position tracheal intubation, help more anesthesiologists master the lateral position tracheal intubation technique, and better safeguard the life safety of patients during the perioperative period. This expert consensus covers the relevant anatomical characteristics, hemodynamic characteristics, indications, contraindications, operational points, complications, and management of difficult airways and intubation failure of lateral position tracheal intubation, providing a reference for the safe and effective application of lateral position tracheal intubation during the perioperative period.
