Purpose of the guideline: Patients with severe traumatic brain injury and COVID-19 infection have complex conditions and many contradictions in the treatment, which brings difficulties to the clinical treatment. Since January 8, 2023, COVID-19 infection has been included in the management of Category B infectious diseases in China. Since then, the number of patients with severe traumatic brain injury combined with COVID-19 infection has increased correspondingly. In order to ensure the normalization and safety of clinical treatment for these patients, Critical Care Medicine Branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Healthcare, and Editorial Board of Chinese Journal of Traumatology jointly led the formation of a consensus expert group to formulate this expert consensus.
