Purpose of the guideline: As a very common acute complication of childhood diabetes, DKA has an incidence of about 50% in new-onset T1DM. Although it has been paid more and more attention by parents and pediatricians, the treatment of DKA is effective and safe, especially for severe DKA. Treatment and complications of DKA therapy, such as cerebral edema, remain challenging. The guidelines we plan to formulate focus on solving important clinical problems in the treatment of children's DKA, especially severe DKA, and more accurately and practically guide the clinical work of the majority of relevant medical workers.
